Hello, my name is Katsuhito Shimaoka, and I am Japanese. I live in Yokohama with my wife and three children.
Job and Interests
I am a web developer working at an IT company. The main languages I use are HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Recently, I have also become interested in web accessibility.
In addition to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I also actively use modern frameworks and libraries such as Tailwind CSS and Stimulus. These technologies provide a more sophisticated user experience and also contribute to improved maintainability and robustness.

Hobbies
Badminton is my favorite hobby. The speed of the game and the thrill of hitting a smash are immensely enjoyable to me. It is my ambition to continue playing badminton throughout my life. As you might already know, I have a deep love for the sport.
Asset management
In addition to working at an IT company, I am also an investor, engaging in stock market investments in both Japan and the United States, real estate investments, and solar power investments. As part of this, I established a private company and became CEO.
My goal is to increase my passive income, aiming for financial independence that is not reliant on manual labor.
